We are looking for an AWS Operations Engineer to focus on the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of our Talent Acquisition Solution. The incumbent will work closely with the development, product and information security teams to ensure scalability, reliability, security and compliance of our products.
Does this sound like you?
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing production workloads on AWS cloud services with solid understanding of key AWS technologies (EC2, AMI, ASG, CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, Route53, ELBv2, SSM, VPC). We make extensive use of most AWS features, we need more than just knowledge of spinning up EC2 instances.
Experience with AWS billing and cost reduction techniques
Experience with modern automation, DevOps, and Agile development
Experience working in an infrastructure-as-code environment using CloudFormation, and possibly Ansible.
Experience working with and integrating APIs into websites.
Experience with AWS security services such as WAF, Detective, Guard Duty, Security Hub, Secrets Manager, Config, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
Experience with relational database systems (we use Aurora Postgres).
A level of comfort with Git and Github.
An ability to quickly grasp new concepts and learn new techniques and technologies.
An undying passion for cloud architecture and solving challenging problems.
Nice to have:
An AWS certification
Strong problem solving skills
Familiarity with implementing technical solutions to meet compliance requirements outlined in ISO 27001 and SOC2
